Is Plenty ‘Zero Waste’?

Our main goal is to create a store which gives everyone the chance to do what they can and to move towards a lower waste, less impactful way of living. Whilst ‘zero waste’ is an objective which we fully support, for us, the benefits of focussing on whole foods, dried products, fewer animal products and more ethical supply chains are the areas where we feel we can make the biggest impact at the moment.

Is Plenty organic?

The majority of what we sell at Plenty will is organic…but not everything. We expect the balance of organic products to increase over time and, as with ‘zero-waste’, this is both something we believe in and something which we will work towards over time. Right now, our priority is to offer whole foods in a sustainable way and to help as many people as possible engage with this way of shopping, eating and living.

Who are your suppliers?

We work with a range of suppliers who we believe reflect our values and ethos. The lost is constantly evolving but includes the likes of Suma, a 100% vegetarian, sustainability focussed co-operative who supply many of our bulk products.

We also work directly with a few producers who we think do exciting work such as Hodmedod’s who grow organic heritage grains and pulses in the UK and Uncharted wines who supply most of our wines on tap from low intervention, natural wine makers.

Do you sell household cleaning products?

Our passion is for food and drink, so this is what we are focusing on at Plenty and we’re keen to make sure we have space to grow into as we keep adding more products!

Plus, there are other local shops who offer refillable cleaning products as well as shampoos and shower gels etc so there are plenty of options in the area to get filled up.

What are your opening hours?

Will you deliver?

Once our online store and click & collect services are up and running we will look at delivery options as this is something we very much want to offer as part of our commitment to making this way of shopping more accessible for everyone.
